PRINCESS MARGARET AND LORD SNOWDON

Princess Margaret and her husband, Lord Snowdon, visited Expo 67 on October 8 and 9. This was an unofficial visit, but it attracted much attention and some special arrangements were made. The Czechoslovakia pavilion, one of the most popular at Expo 67, was closed so that they could have a quiet visit, to the great disappointment of some of the visitors who had stood in line to get in for quite some time. The royal couple also had lunch at the Hélène-de-Champlain honorary pavilion.
