Fred H. Brown fonds.  - 1926-1960.  - 3 cm of textual records. 

Biographical sketch
Pianist and music lecturer, Fred H. Brown (also Fred Renwick Brown) in addition produced music programs for the CBC in Toronto. 

Scope and content
The fonds contains records pertaining to the musical activities of F.H. Brown:  letters received from Aaron Copland (2), Mona Bates (1) and Sir Bernard Heinze (1); arrangements of works by Chopin; press clippings and concert programmes chiefly relating to the his career and that of his teacher Mona Bates. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from Fred H. Brown in four accessions (1973).
