Canadian Piano and Organ Manufacturers' Association fonds.  - 1913-1975.  - 9 cm of textual records. 

Administrative history
Association founded in Toronto in order to promote, regulate and protect makers of organs and pianos in Canada.  During its life it was involved in a number of areas, including excise duties, sales taxes and freight rates.  Dissolved in 1975, it was reformed the same year as the Keyboard Committee of the Music Industries Association of Canada. 

Scope and content

The fonds contains records pertaining to the activities of the organization:  minutes, notes. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from William Heintzman, through Patricia Wardrop, in 1982.
