Biographical sketch
Along with Jim Kidd, Dick Bourcier and Jack Litchfield, this discographer founded the Montréal record enthusiasts' club known as the Vintage Music Society in 1966. 

Scope and content
The fonds contains records illustrating the career of Hank Fleischman:  manuscript and published jazz music discographies; photographs; slides and negatives chiefly depicting Hank Fleischman and a few musicians; sound recording of Paul Bley. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from Sheila Raymond, widow of H. Fleischman, in 1984.
