Biographical sketch
Composer and pianist, he wrote a number of works, including the concerto for harp Lavender and Old Lace

Scope and content
The fonds consists of records pertaining to Francis Macklem's activity as a composer:  autograph manuscripts of compositions by F. Macklem. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from David Wyse, grandnephew of Francis Macklem, in 1978.
