C.O. Sénécal fonds.  - 1897-1939.  - 3 cm of textual records. 

Biographical sketch
Chief draftsman with the Geological Survey of Canada and musician, C.O. Sénécal composed a number of pieces for piano, voice and piano, and also conducted the choir of Sacré-Coeur Church in Ottawa. 

Scope and content
The fonds contains records pertaining to the musical activities of C.O. Sénécal:  copies and manuscripts of works by Sénécal; honours diploma; libretto for the comic opera Les Noces de Jeannette; published and annotated scores (dedicated by Ernest Lavigne, L.E.O. Payment and Jules Tremblay); press clippings. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from Paul de Bellefeuille in 1982.
