Louis Waizman fonds.  - 1902-1930.  - 1 cm of textual records. 

Biographical sketch
Louis Waizman:  Composer, arranger, librarian, teacher, violist, trombonist and pianist born in Salzburg, Austria, who settled in Ottawa in 1893 and then in Toronto in 1903. 

Scope and content
The fonds contains records pertaining to the musical activities of Louis Waizman:  manuscripts of compositions by Waizman; manuscript of A Blessing by von Kunits, with a dedication to Florence Waizman; press clippings. 

Immediate source of acquisition:  acquired from Florence Waizman, daughter of Louis Waizman, in 1977. 

Restrictions:  none.
