IT 011

IT 011 ["A", v. 2, p. 287] is a manuscript copy of a seigneurial grant dated May 29, 1680, from the King of France to the Jesuits, to establish a mission for the "Iroquois" at Sault St. Louis, modern Kahnawake. The purpose of this mission was to convert the Iroquois to Christianity and provide them with basic education.
