Return to Audits and Evaluations

Figure 1: Program 1.0 Logic Model, Government Information

The logic model summarizes the key outputs and expected results for the program and its activities.

  • The activities of Program 1.0 are "1.1 Development of regulatory instruments and recordkeeping tools" and "1.2 Collaboration in the management of government records."
  • The activity of Development of regulatory instruments activities is expected to lead to the output "Disposition instruments" while the activity "Collaboration in the management of government records" is expected to lead to the outputs "Policy Instruments and Tools" and "Support and Services."
  • All of these outputs are expected to lead to the immediate outcome of "Increased capacity and readiness to manage GC information effectively."
  • This immediate outcome is expected in turn to lead to the intermediate outcome of the establishment of a "Regulatory regime is established across the GC and government information is managed and disposed of appropriately."
  • This intermediate outcome contributes to the ultimate outcome in which "Current government information is managed to support government accountability."
