Service to Children

  • Basic collection that reflects the specific needs of disabled children who might not benefit from traditional book formats
  • Print Braille and Touchread Braille at Grade 1-2 Braille levels
  • Children's Talking books
  • Toys, story kits, books on cassette, videos, cassettes and CD's


  • Confidential service to support independence of people with disabilities
  • Staffed Monday - Friday 1 - 4:30 p.m.
  • Accessible by phone, TTY, Internet, in-person
  • DISH has a Community Advisory Committee

Visiting Library Service

  • Staff select materials which are delivered to readers who are homebound or institutionalized for more than 3 months
