The Maintenance Agency

The Library and Archives of Canada is designated as Maintenance Agency for the Bath Profile: an international Z39.50 specification for library applications and resource discovery.

Maintenance Agency responsibilities include:

Developer Group

The Bath Profile Developer Group generally meets twice a year: prior to the general meeting of the Z39.50 Implementors Group (ZIG), and in conjunction with a major library conference. One meeting a year is held outside North America. This is an informal group of librarians, software developers and vendors of Z39.50 products.

The most recent meeting of the Bath Profile Developer Group was held Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, 2002, at OCLC in Dublin, Ohio, USA.
