CIP for Government Publishers

Most federal and provincial publishers should apply directly to Library and Archives Canada for CIP using the online application linked to below.

Provincial publishers in Ontario and Manitoba should refer to the List of CIP Agents for Canadian Publishers for further information.

First time applicants are encouraged to read the explanatory notes at the bottom of each form.

For details on the eligibility criteria for the CIP Program, please see CIP Scope and Coverage.

Please note that publications need to have a print run of at least 100 copies in order to be eligible for the CIP Program.
