Assembled after World War II by Richard Meyer, a member of the United States Army involved in the re-education of the German population. Donated by his widow in 1954.
Description
A small collection of Nazi schoolbooks, official propaganda and literature directed towards the youth of Germany. About one-third of the material consists of pamphlets published after the war by both German and American authorities, with a view to rehabilitate the schools, the teachers, their students and, through them, the adult survivors.
Language
German predominates. English language material is also included.
