Description
A collection of printed books and manuscripts on Portuguese literature and history, with special strengths in Portuguese epic poetry from the 16th through to the 19th century; includes several early editions of Camoes.s Os Lusiadas; historical chronicles; the writings of J.A. de Macedo (1761-1831); the novels of C. Camillo Branco (1825-1890) and modern Brazilian literature.
