McGill University, Rare Books and Special Collections Library
Shakespeare, William; English literature
The collection was purchased in 1954 and consists of some of the books and pamphlets used by Sir Edmund Kercherver Chambers in writing his critical works on Shakespeare.

The collection is not expanded but is supplemented by the Rare Book Department's extensive Shakespeare holdings and the McLennan Library's collection.
