The core of this collection, developed by Lord David McAdam Eccles, was purchased in 1961. The collection has been developed further by additional acquisitions.

The collection contains first editions of D.H. Lawrence's major works; most minor works and short stories; foreign translations; ephemera; colonial imprints; broadsides; and movie stills.

English, French, and selected foreign language material.

600 monographs.
