Collection belonged to the well-known ornithologist, James L. Baillie and acquired from his widow, Mrs. Helen Baillie, in 1971.

Description
The collection contains books, pamphlets, offprints and periodicals on ornithology and natural history. Largely American in emphasis. Collection is expanded through gifts and purchases.
