The original collection was formed by Professor Gilbert Bagnani and given by him to the library in 1960.
Description
The collection contains most of the significant editions of Petronius' Satyricon published since the fifteenth century. The early editions reflect its complicated textual history as each includes the most recently rediscovered fragments. Secondary material is also included.
