Since 1855, the Fabrique of the Notre-Dame de Montréal Parish has owned and operated an exceptional site on Mont-Royal,the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, in the Catholic parish of Notre-Dame Basilica. As of April 2001, the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery is the third largest cemetery in North America. It offers an online database that provides names of persons buried in the cemetery since 1855 as well as coordinates of burial lot.
