This website lists the returns of men who swore the Oath of Allegiance to the Crown before Lieutenant-Governor Nicholas Cox, from the communities of Paspebiac, Hopetown, Port Daniel, Coxes Lakes, New Lake, and New Carlisle. Most of the men were loyalists from the American colonies or soldiers from disbanded British and Hessian regiments.
