Description:
Trent University Archives in the Thomas J. Bata Library has an extensive collection of census returns, assessment and collectors rolls and voters’ lists for the Trent Valley area. Some Newcastle District records date back as early as 1803. Select birth, marriage and death records are among the holdings. Some material is also available on the Peter Robinson settlers. Numerous personal and business collections may be of interest to genealogists as well.
