The Leddy Library at the University of Windsor has Essex County census returns, indexes to local cemeteries and church records, and local newspapers including the Amherstburg Echo, Essex Record, Sarnia Observer, Leamington Post and Windsor Star. The university’s archives, located in the library, has land registry copy books for Essex, Kent and Lambton. It also has birth, marriage and burial registers for St. John’s Anglican Church in Sandwich covering 1802 to about 1915.
