| Description: | We are in a huge mental institution where children have been locked up. Were they ill? No, they simply had no family left. To escape this oppressing world, they have created a parallel universe: in the basement of the institution lies a labyrinth of tunnels where the children have created their own society, with complete with spells and rituals. A young girl, Agnès, rules over this underground world that the adults appear to tolerate. But then a dying child disappears. The underground world is under suspicion. A battle begins between the two societies. The basement will be searched, the children will be rounded up, the adults will try to take away their world. The children’s republic will exist no more. |
