| Description: | Two thirtyish sisters, Amelia (Kathy Horner) and Lie (Andrea Sadler), live in a large house in the country, their only company various animals and fifteen geese, the ugly sisters of the title. A former lover , Slu (Attila Bertalan), who Amelia has not seen for three years, arrives waving a gun and pursued by the police. Over the next few days he makes love to Amelia and at the same time makes advances to Lie, a beautiful, shy and fragile creature. His attitude is wheedling and ambiguous and the two sisters see their quiet routine perturbed. Despite Slu's relentless advances, Lie resists and an eerie triangle develops. Lie escapes from his attentions into the memories, poems and songs of her childhood. Amelia orders Slu to leave, which he does, but he soon returns and in a moment of extreme frustration, attempts to rape her and Lai. They struggle and she stabs him. The sisters bundle his lifeless body into the trunk of his car and Lie drives away. Amelia, reading unseen from her diary, tells us that Lie handled everything very efficiently.
