| Description: | Francis, a cartoonist, takes a job as a night taxi driver to make a living. He escapes to an imaginary world, unwittingly drawing himself away from the ones he loves, his 15-year-old daughter Eve and his partner Maria. Eve finds a sympathetic ear in her Uncle Rival, who is berthed at the Old Port, while Maria concentrates on her oddball plans for an underwater hotel. An enigmatic Japanese publisher places an order that leads Francis to delve into his own existence and those of his love ones to find inspiration for a science fiction story in which the hero, an intergalactic taxi driver, searches for his beloved daughter who has mysteriously disappeared. In this quest, he meets the beautiful Aria who offers to help him, and they quickly set off together on the trail of a millennium prince. |
