Description:On October 10, 1970, four militants from the Front de libération du Québec kidnap the Quebec minister of Labour and Immigration, Pierre Laporte. One week later, the police find the hostage’s body in the trunk of the car that was used in the abduction. What really happened during that fateful week? The film reconstitutes the event hour-by-hour, detailing the facts and actions of the five men who were hiding out in a house on Armstrong Street in a Montreal suburb. The camera captures their doubts, hopes and fears. Torn between their convictions and misfortune, they soon have their backs against the wall. They are then swept up in a relentless logic and one by one choose to face their destiny, both alone and as a group.
