| Description: | The story of Jude, a hit-and-run-at-the-mouth teenager with an eclectic view of her community and its inhabitants: Clarence, the fatherly pedophile who is scared of his own reflection; Big Al, who promises Jude rescue from her circumstances; Georgie, the hustler who cannot outgrow his tiny tuxedo; and beautiful Gabriel, sick from getting a bad tattoo. Kicked out of her father’s house and hiding from the dope dealer she’s ripped off, Jude drags her suitcase along the sidewalks of her Montreal neighbourhood on a quest for love, for which there is much promise, but also disappointment. |
