Monica’s most fervent wish is to be an angel in her church’s summer procession. When she learns that she is to be replaced for the parade, she steals a pair of angel wings, only to lose them on a streetcar. In her attempts to recover them from Mary, a troubled homeless woman, Monica learns something about being a real angel. |
