Description:
In this 7-lesson unit, students learn some details of the lives of various Loyalists through examining a variety of primary documents from Library and Archives Canada web site. They learn to “read” a painting, speech and other documents and use their historical imaginations to create a paper postcard and an electronic brochure or slide show. In a culminating activity, they share their learning at a Loyalist Day celebration.
