Cover: During central Canada's recent ice storm, thousands of trees and dozens of hydro towers toppled under the weight of the ice. The storm was also a severe test for the health care systems in Quebec and Ontario, but they rose to the challenge (page 520 and page 524). Couverture: Au cours de la récente tempête de verglas qui a frappé le Canada central, des milliers d'arbres et des dizaines de tours de transmission se sont écrasés sous le poids de la glace. La tempête a aussi constitué une autre épreuve pour le système de soins de santé du Québec et celui de l'Ontario, qui ont toutefois relevé le défi (page 520 et page 524).
