Webcasts on clinical practice guidelines for the care and treatment of breast cancer

The Steering Committee on Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Care and Treatment of Breast Cancer (part of Health Canada's Canadian Breast Cancer Initiative) is updating their 1998 guidelines and preparing new ones. The Committee has modified some of its earlier recommendations in light of new research findings and will discuss the most significant changes in these Webcasts.

A bilingual Webcast will be conducted for physicians on Tuesday November 13 at 6 pm Eastern time; French and English Webcasts for breast cancer patients and the general public will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at 6:00 pm Eastern and 8:00 pm Eastern, respectively. Each Webcast will last 1 hour and will consist of presentations by Steering Committee members followed by a question and answer session.

The Webcasts will be broadcast from www.breastcancerguide.ca.
