About Kathryn Jennings-Hancock

Kathryn Jennings-Hancock is a former feature reporter for Salt Lake City's Eagle and Clipper weekly newspapers. Her nonfiction has appeared in Comic Scene, Woman, Short Stuff for Grown-ups, and Remembrance. It has also been featured in The Belletrist Review, Wellspring, Dogwood Tales, and The Storyteller. In 1997 Kathryn was recipient of the William Faulkner Society gold medal for Best Short Story of 1997.

Kathryn Jennings-Hancock is thirty-five years old, employed in the hospitality industry in the Denver area, and the 'proud parent' of three wonderful stray lab mixes. She says, "My personal philosophy is; 'life happens a day at a time, and should be considered in the same manner.'
