I am 24, and studying English Literature at the University of Tennessee.
In my spare time I play piano and enjoy hiking. My ambitions are to make an impact on the world by being a successful student of life, and to make myself, and a certain woman with dark hair, very happy.
I don't particularly have dreams of being famously rich or loved by millions, I would enjoy the quiet, private life of maybe a talk radio host, or a crusty old English Literature teacher.
Basically, I'm just another confused (but well meaning) twenty something who has floundered on various life paths, and has begun searching for the right one.
As far as a personal philosophy, I feel all we can do is the best we can, be honest - no matter the cost, and heed the haunting words of Jamestown : "If we do not learn from our mistakes, we are doomed to repeat them."
Due to recent developments and my philosophy I would like to offer you an essay entitled "Sometimes we go to far."
