The Writing of Ryszard Krasowski
Ryszard Krasowski. is 49 years old and is learning English as well as how to use a computer. Ryszard says, " I came to America from Poland. Writing is my hobby and one of the ways to improve my ability to communicate in this language. Perhaps my style of writing is not as smooth as I would like it to be but at least I try to master it sharing my experience with anybody who would like to read about my close encounter with this country. ed note: Think about it a bit. Every day, thousands of migrants reach the shores of North America. They come from around the world. Many know nothing of our language...many have only a rudimentary knowledge. It must be difficult.We know that English is not the only language in the world which makes use of the idiom. All languages do, in one way or another. It's fine to technically know the language, but as Ryszard points out, one must also know the idiom.
We encourage you to write to Ryszard, particularly if you are of Polish origin and have not lost that language. You could be a great value in helping a new citizen learn a new language.
