Sheila Moss is a free-lance humor writer, living in Nashville, TN, where she is employed in the field of social services. She edits and publishes weekly humor columns on her own web site “The Tennessee Firefly - A Weekly Humor Column” Though she claims not to specialize in “redneck” humor, she admits a bit does occasionally slip in. With an educational background in sociology and psychology, some of her work almost unavoidably contains hidden social commentary.

She spends most of her time commuting on the Interstates of Nashville and waiting for the office elevator. When she isn't busy doing this, she is usually found at the computer writing her humor column, or creating cartoon captions as a hobby. She is on the new member selection committee of "The NetWits," an elite association of Internet Humor Columnists, and is an editor for the Open Directory Project search engine. Her nickname and the name of her web site came from her philosophy of life: "Let your light shine, no matter how small." Sheila's columns are published widely on the Internet.
