A. J. Dawes resides in a small rural agricultural town along the Connecticut River under the picturesque Holyoke and Berkshire Mountain Ranges, so well known in Western Massachusetts.At the age of 40, she is a retired owner- operator and used to haul meat and produce throughout the countryside with her pet beagle, Kobie. She ordered the first Peterbilt that was painted purple,
in 1985, and was featured on the cover of many trucking magazines.
A.J. Dawes On many a sunny days, she can be found in the old cemetery, next to her house, reading many of the humorous epithets, which date back to the early 1600's. A.J. Dawes has completed one young adult novel and is working on the second, hopefully both to be published soon. For a hobby she travels the country skeet shooting. She is a high over-all world class champion and continues to practice hitting those small orange and black clay targets on a weekly basis. A.J. Dawes' philosophy; Stop and listen to what surrounds you, and never stop learning. Keep goals intact at all times, and most of all believe in yourself.
