Just found your site when I searched for my own name on the web... found the Donna Martin you have onsite, and thought it would be fun to send some material from the Australian Donna Martin."

"Although I've lived in Australia for the past 15 years, I was born in Winnipeg and raised in Vancouver where I started a career in journalism and radio broadcasting for CFUN radio. Had a hoot being the "In Vancouver" reporter and then moved to do a talk show in Winnipeg. After that to Ottawa where I went into TV reporting, political, investigative and consumer stories mainly for the CBC.

The move to Australia in 1985 was with my Australian husband, and when I became single later on I decided to stay here and enjoy the weather !!

My career has taken me into the fields of public relations, corporate and public affairs, and now into change management and strategic communications in my own company.

I'd say I see life through the heart and that what matters most to be is looking for the deeper meaning below the surface. I have a great group of friends in my Rotary Club and live in Brighton (close to the beach) with my sweet little dog Cassie.

While I haven't been published under my own name,(unless you count being a journalist) I have written hundreds of articles on behalf of clients that were published.

It was really wonderful to 'meet' Donna Martin on your web site, and it is with great pleasure that I submit these poems for your consideration.
