Debra A. Kemp

Debra A Kemp has recently finished her term of office as vice-president of the Black Hills Writers Group. She belong to the International Arthurian Society. Debra says, "Portions of my novel and two of my short stories have garnered writing awards in the past few years. I currently live on Ellsworth AFB, SD with my husband of twenty-one years (does that qualifiy for age?) and work in a second-hand bookstore.

My Arthurian themes take presidence over writing to a specific genre, but if you must have one, I consider this historical."

"CUMAL" . . . A short story in which Debra deals with the same Arthurian themes as her novel but from a different view point. This story earned a 3rd place in the 1998 Laura Bower VanNuys Writing contest.
