The Poetry of Paula Grenside Paula Grenside is from Oderzo, Italy ... not far from Venice, where she teaches English and American literature to high school students.
Forty year old Paula, a lithesome blonde, has had two collections of poems in the Italian Language published, but as she writes in both Italian and English, she would like to see her English works published too. Paula says, "I think (I may be wrong), my English poetry better expresses my way of looking at things, exploring emotions and nature".
Paula Grensides' other interests include reading and music ... classical and pop. She usually writes with music in the background...the kind of music determined by her mood. She says she also enjoys water...rivers, lakes, the sea and enjoys swimming, which not only relaxes her but makes her feel ‘melted in nature'. All forms of violence frighten Paula.
Paulas' philosophy; "When I feel down or frightened I have two ways to overcome it - poetry and nature. Poetry and Nature make me feel existent; I recapture the universal bond, the magic of life and beyond."
