Canadian women have contributed to this country's writing in various ways. Journalists such as Robertine Barry (Françoise), Edith Josie and Violet McNaughton are among many who wrote on a variety of topics in their own particular styles. Fiction is represented by those such as Félicité Angers and for younger readers, Margaret Marshall Saunders.
