Headquarters of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade at Fleurbaix.
A 6,400-metre sector in front of the French village of Fleurbaix was occupied by the Canadians at the time of their first active service during the Battle of Neuve-Chapelle. The 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade, one of the units that made up the 1st Canadian Division which fought at Neuve-Chapelle, set up headquarters at Fleurbaix.
