"Fight With Food" Poster, 1914-1918
Produced by the Canada Food Board, this poster was supposed to encourage housewives to save and recycle food. The "Fight With Food" slogan expresses the symbolic parallel between the soldier’s battle against the enemy and the housewife’s battle against waste.
