Letter from J. Coughlan and Sons tothe Deputy Minister of the Marine, in Response to the Government's Requests to Include Female Labour in the Marine Industry, April 4, 1918
The firm of J. Coughlan and Sons was fairly receptive to hiring women for its yard. Some women, members of soldiers' families, already worked in the drafting department.
