Gallery - Photographic Souvenirs
Whole economies sprang out of the desire for photographic souvenirs, and as these became highly sought-after objects, they demanded their own viewing devices, methods of circulation and display. The production of new or improved photographic collectibles therefore made good business sense, and photographic studios often produced, or at least sold, items featuring popular places, people and events.
