The Jewish Genealogical Society of Ottawa and the Genealogy and Family History signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, September 4, 2002.
The purpose of this agreement is to have the Web site of the Genealogy and Family History host a database developed by the Jewish Genealogical Society of Ottawa and its associates.
This database concerns the lists of immigrants who received Canadian naturalization certificates, which was published in the Canada Gazette between 1915 and 1951. A name index will be provided to facilitate the use of this bank of digitized documents.
