The Genealogy and Family History One of the Best Web Sites of 2003!

Family Tree Magazine, an American publication on genealogy considered to have the largest circulation in the United States, has chosen the Genealogy and Family History Web site as one of 101 best family history Web sites for 2003!

For four years, the magazine has rated the top Internet destinations for finding information on all matters related to genealogy. It publishes advice and resources for discovering, preserving and celebrating family history and also produces a popular weekly email newsletter for genealogy enthusiasts. The magazine's publisher, Betterway Books, is known for such best-selling genealogy titles as Unpuzzling Your Past by Emily Anne Croom and Organizing Your Family History Search by Sharon DeBartolo Carmack.

The Genealogy and Family History Web site was chosen as a winner because of its appeal to a wide audience, its ease of use, its resourcefulness and its clear design. The Centre's site is now listed in the "101 Best Web Sites for 2003" category under the subheading "Canada" on the Family Tree Magazine Internet site at: www.familytreemagazine.com.

The Genealogy and Family History Web site will also be featured for a day on the Family Tree Magazine home page at the same Web address. The August 2003 issue of the magazine, which lists all the winners, is now available at newsstands in the United States.
