4.10 The disposal of Surplus Publications in Government Institutions (Authority No. 2010/004)

Issued to

The Government Institutions subject to the Library and Archives of Canada Act for:

the Surplus Publications in Government of Canada Institutions.

The Librarian and Archivist of Canada, pursuant to Sections 9 and 16 of the Library and Archives of Canada Act, consents to the disposition, either by redistribution or by destruction, of surplus publications under the control of Government of Canada institutions when institutions subject to the Act sign the agreement agreeing to give him care and control of publications that have no further operational value.
