Early Days of Hockey

O-Pee-Chee Trading Cards, 1933-34

Hockey player card sets were produced in the 1930s by the O-Pee-Chee Company, a gum and trading-card firm based in London, Ontario. Still sought-after today, cards for popular players such as Howie Morenz, Georges Mantha and Albert Leduc command sky-high prices.
