Information for Intending Settlers Regarding the Homestead Regulations of Western Canada, August 14, 1930. To inform prospective immigrants about life in Canada, emigration agents distributed pamphlets or posters that elaborated the virtues of life in North America and explained the rules and regulations that the settlers would have to follow. Pamphlets such as this one, served both to raise, and moderate, expectations.
