Information for Intending Settlers Regarding the Homestead
Regulations of Western Canada, August 14, 1930. To inform prospective immigrants about life in Canada, emigration agents
distributed pamphlets or posters that elaborated the virtues of life in North
America and explained the rules and regulations that the settlers would have to
follow. Pamphlets such as this one, served both to raise, and moderate, expectations.
