Land patent, January 7, 1887.
This land patent was issued on January 7, 1887, to William Taylor Speed on the northeast quarter of section 36, township 18, range 10, west of the second meridian. Library and Archives Canada retains nearly 700,000 similar patents on western homestead lands in the records of the former Department of the Interior.
